HOW THE AVS WORKS

Five questions, scored one to five.

The Agency Viability Score evaluates an AppSumo tool through five dimensions that matter most to operators running multi-client engagements. Each dimension is scored 1 to 5, weighted equally, and averaged to produce the composite.

White-Label Depth
How completely the tool can disappear behind your brand. Custom domain, branded login, removed product mentions. The difference between "powered by their thing" and "yours."
Multi-Client Management
Whether the tool was built for one workspace or many. Sub-accounts, centralized admin, ability to switch between client environments without logging out. The first thing that breaks under agency scale.
Reseller Viability
The legal and commercial path to billing clients for access. Reseller agreements, white-label licensing, agency tiers. Whether the founder framed agency partnership as a real motion or an afterthought.
Integration Flexibility
How readily the tool plugs into the rest of an agency stack. Native integrations, public API, webhooks, Zapier or Make support. The friction between "we use this" and "this fits where we already work."
Roadmap Confidence
Whether the founder ships and whether the trajectory points where agency operators need it to. Shipping cadence, public roadmap, commitments made on the record. Hardest to score, most consequential when wrong.

A tool can score 5 on its own terms and 2 on agency fit. That's not a contradiction; that's the rubric working. We score what changes the answer to "would I deploy this on a client engagement?"
